2011 HANGING ROCK POOL RULES

1.       The pool is open from 8:00am until 8:30pm daily, until timers are installed on the pool lights.  At that time, hours will be 8:00am to 10:00pm Sunday through Thursday and 8:00am to Midnight Friday and Saturday.

2.       There are no lifeguards at our facility.  You are responsible for the safety and well being of your family and guests.

3.       Homeowners who are delinquent in their dues are not allowed to use the pool.

4.       Because the facilities are for the enjoyment of our neighborhood, guest should be limited to (4) per household.  Guests must be accompanied by a resident of Hanging Rock.

5.       Anyone found inside the pool area after hours will be considered trespassing which could result in loss of pool privileges for the remainder of the Summer.  NO climbing or jumping the fence at anytime.

6.       Proper swim wear is required.  Jeans or cut-offs are not allowed.

7.       No baby diapers are allowed in the pool.  Swim diapers are required.

8.       No one under 18 years of age is permitted in the pool area without supervision.

9.       No loud or profane music is permitted.  Music can be played quietly or used in combination with headphones.

10.   Trash cans have been provided.  Please do not litter.  If you bring it in, take it out or throw it away.

11.   If you are a smoker, please bring an ashtray.  Keep cigarette butts off the pool deck.

12.   NO GLASS OR BOTTLES are allowed in the fenced area.

13.   DHEC states that no person under the influence of drugs or alcohol should use the pool.  If you choose to consume alcoholic beverages, they must be concealed in a cup or koozie.  You will be asked to leave the Association’s property if you arrive or become intoxicated.

14.   No animals allowed in fenced pool area.

15.   No grills of any type are allowed in fenced pool area.

16.   No running, pushing, wrestling, snapping towels or causing undue disturbance in or about the pool or pool deck.

17.   YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO OPEN THE GATE FOR ANYONE.  Please make sure to shut the gate when entering or leaving the pool.

18.   Only pool toys are permitted in the fenced area.  No footballs, volleyballs, water balloons, skate boards, scooters, bikes, etc….

19.   USE OF LANGUAGE NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN, IS NOT PERMITTED.

20.   Please remember that the kiddy pool is for small children only.

21.   All vehicles left in pool parking lot unattended after pool hours WILL be towed at owner’s expense.

22.   The cabana area may be reserved for “small” parties such as children’s birthday parties.  This type of party is limited to 25 people and has a 2 hour time limit.  A reservation of the cabana area does not include reservation of the pool. 

    All reservations must be made through NorCon @1-877-285-6515 or emailed to norcon@norconproperty.com and accompanied by a $50 cleaning deposit.  All tables must be wiped and all garbage properly disposed in trash containers.  In addition, any spills on the decking must be wiped up.  Upon inspection and approval of the cleanliness of the area by the pool committee, cleaning deposits will be returned.
